THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT BY STEPHEN ADLY GUIRGIS
STUDIO PLAY AT MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY
The Last Judas of Judas Iscariot is a show that is about the human experience and specifically, forgiveness. We wanted to represent the inner torment of Judas and the balance of self-righteousness and self-loathing by using a grayscale color palette, which balances light and dark. We also felt that this fit the setting of purgatory and how it services as the middle ground between heaven and earth. This show was a studio show that was completed only with the help of my assistant, Grace Wilson, and with a budget of $1,000. I also acted as Hair and Makeup Designer and Wardrobe Head for this production.
